She partners with an organization devoted to the protection of unaccompanied and separated children, and most recently helped a young boy who fled to the United States to escape abuse in his home country obtain Special Immigrant Juvenile Status. She also partners with an organization that aims to protect immigrant women and young girls fleeing gender-based violence and persecution in their home country and represents women seeking asylum in the United States.
